Unless this update magically allows BotW to use a third core, something is seriously messed up then. CEMU uses 3 cores. BotW has always been limited to 2 cores for me. As for the explanation why I am seeing so much higher CPU usage now, apparently it reset certain settings in the settings. I switched it back to low and CPU usage is back to normal where it belongs. I've been playing it just fine; no start-up hangs or having to disable inputs, it just plays! Still trying out different emulator configurations though likely to no real end.

The game remains unplayable outdoor with FPS with drop during fights. Yes, mine were all screwed up, so it's better to delete them and either recompile them or look for new precompiled versions. Doesn't take long to recompile your transferable cache and it doesn't hurt to make sure you're getting the best possible performance. There is no need to do it manually. Cemu does it automatically at game load when it detects a version mismatch between cemu and the precompiled cache.
