I'm getting significantly higher CPU usage in vs Like at the main menu of BotW, 14% on old vs 24% on new. Cemu 1. It's CEMUs flagship game. Apparently Yes! At this point my cemu botw only drops frames during big explosions, but I'm pretty sure that happens on the Wii U as well.

Other than that, it's at locked 30fps, it basically never drops below 30fps, even in cities. For high end computers, botw performance is no longer an issue whatsoever. Unless this update magically allows BotW to use a third core, something is seriously messed up then. CEMU uses 3 cores. BotW has always been limited to 2 cores for me. As for the explanation why I am seeing so much higher CPU usage now, apparently it reset certain settings in the settings. I switched it back to low and CPU usage is back to normal where it belongs. I've been playing it just fine; no start-up hangs or having to disable inputs, it just plays! Still trying out different emulator configurations though likely to no real end.

This doesn't appear to be fixed. Any way to inform the devs about this? The game remains unplayable outdoor with FPS with drop during fights. Yes, mine were all screwed up, so it's better to delete them and either recompile them or look for new precompiled versions. Doesn't take long to recompile your transferable cache and it doesn't hurt to make sure you're getting the best possible performance. There is no need to do it manually. Cemu does it automatically at game load when it detects a version mismatch between cemu and the precompiled cache.

After I updated, monster hunter started crashing after compiling shaders. Do I need to do something for this release? I tried that by renaming the cache for the game. It would still crash. Turns out I just had to extract the latest version of cemu to a new folder and then copy over configuration,dlc,saves etc.

It works fine now. I ended up having to do the same. That and getting my configuration within CEMU back up to par. If you're talking about Xenoblade Chronicles X, it has been more than playable for months now. I don't know what causes it, but I don't think it's cemuhook it still crashes without it.

Also, I've tried opening super mario 3d world and bayonetta 2 and they both crash. I don't know if I can play any game in using this version. I did just that and now it works! I don't know what's different about this version that it requires a new folder, but it works now. Problem was on my end I guess. It's certainly an interesting occurance. It's been happening for months. Some people have experienced crashing until making a new cemu folder. But it doesn't effect everyone.

I've been using the same folder since cemu Is Mario Maker fixed? It's working pretty well on my Nvidia machine, though I've heard it might still have problems on AMD cards? I can't verify that, only that it works fine on Nvidia. Because this is only an issue with fiji, polaris, and vega gpus on specific drivers. Please rename it to BotW emulator. Maybe I should quit it. If anything it was aimed at SMM since 1. I already finished the game. If something stops working after an update, I am obliged to report it.

After every update BotW gains drastic performance increase while other games stop working. But since Cemu can go online now, and SMM is a very famous game, I can see this being a higher priority. Go ahead and report it. Is pretty much the only game on WII U which uses Geometry Shaders, i would love to play it as well but the emulator needs to be near complete to be able to emulate it.
